Why Zong approached CCP against Telenor ?

ISLAMABAD ( ABRAR MUSTAFA )

Zong has officially launched a strong complaint against Telenor and its 4G services in CCP.

It has been learnt by TelecoAlert.com that Zong has gone to the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) to complain about Telenor’s 4G services.

Zong has alleged that Telenor is failing to distribute or offer its 4G cities in 10 main cities of the country as per the regulations that every telecom company has to follow. In fact, Telenor has also failed to share its 4G services in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad as well.

It is interesting to note here that Zong is registering this case in CCP and not in Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA).

According to those close to the situation, it was found that Zong did approach PTA but it didn’t take any action.

This has become a new trend with PTA which seems to seriously listen to the complaints and issues of the telecom companies but doesn’t take any action.

Zong in its frustration over lack of action went with CCP. Below complete report of CCP.

The story is developing.
