PTCL refuse to provide free hosting services to DATA CENTER of Government of Pakistan. The plane of Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom may be more late even no more. This is because of Moitt notice send to Ptcl on Illegal/Wrongful use of spectrum. Its cerate different between Ptcl and Moitt. Mrs Anusha rehman khan give statement just few days back that all Govt offices will be online in few weeks. At that time Ptcl have offer Moitt to provided free of cost hosting facilities to Moitt. Moitt have lay down fiber optic network between Prsident House Prime Mister office as well as other important office. The news was issues from Moitt that Prime Minister may approche ministries file on one click.
Moitt issue notice to Ptcl that Naib has taken cognizance of illegal / unauthorized usage of spectrum and has also initiated an inquiry in this regard. Earlier this matter was taken up by PTA where in it imposed a penalty of Rs. 82.496 million on Ptcl vide enforcement order dated 16th September, 2011.
Despite NAB inquiry and PTA proceedings, PTCL has continued its illegal / unauthorized usage of spectrum, Which is a scarce national resource. Now Fab has reported vide letter No. 6-1/2012/MoN/MoiT/457 about continuous gross infringement of spectrum worth billion of rupees.
Moitt send notice copies to CEO Etsalat CTO, PTCL and other concern offices.
After this notice the PTCL management inform Moitt that we will provide services on Cost.
