PTCL Have Immobilized Charjee Services, PTA has not taken any Notice !

ISLAMABAD ( BMZ REPORT )

PTCL have immobilized its charjee services across the country for unknown reasons. Apparently charjee has been completely shut down in 4 major regions of the country whereas in prime cities like Islamabad and Karachi charjee’s signals have suddenly vanished into thin Air. PTA has not taken any notice yet being the regulatory authority, it is not playing a very fair part in resolving this Issue. According to some inside sources of the company it was revealed that PTCL was operating its Charjee services without the official consent of PTA thus leading to its sudden suspension prior notice. The services were disabled preparatory to Eid ul Adha, The customers being uninformed were kept in the dark till the very moment. PTCL which has been known for its absolute monopoly in fixed lines and despite its dreadful 3g and 4g services have yet managed to pull of billions of Rupees somehow. Inside sources in the company also revealed that there was a massive spectrum of disagreement between the company and the authority leading PTCL to illegally function its charjee services.
A very dissatisfied charjee customer in Islamabad informed our reporter that Charjee’s services have been abruptly dismantled and the company does not feel obliged to respond to customer’s query in any manner. When The Company’s officer was contacted on this issue he casually responded that Due to some technical and commercial difficulties charjee’s services were inactive in only 4 cities whereas company sources claimed that the services were inactive in 4 major regions which are comprised of countless cities. This sudden instability in PTCL’s services will not only render massive losses to the company itself but will also inflict loss to the national treasury of Pakistan since Etisalat only owns the 26% of the company shares whereas the rest is possessed by  the government of Pakistan.
On the contrary PTCL have also announced a full refund to the customers for their charjee devices via PTCL smart shops, But infact the interesting thing here to ponder upon is that why will PTCL offer a full refund if the services are temporarily suspended?
