Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif met with Chairman of Alibaba Group Mr. Jack Ma today in Davos, Switzerland on the sidelines of the 2017 World Economic Forum.

Mr. Jack Ma said that they have a lot of interest in investing in Pakistan. They have closely followed positive economic developments in Pakistan and ready to invest in building eCommerce platform. He said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has provided immense opportunities.

Prime Minister invited Mr. Ma to visit Pakistan at the earliest opportunity. While accepting the invitation Mr. Ma invited the Prime Minister to visit his company’s hub at Ghuangzou. Mr. Ma mentioned that 60 million companies worldwide are only benefiting at the moment. To benefit developing countries, he plans to invest in SMEs .
